This brief was to create two engaging posters that advertise a gallery titled ‘Unfold’ featuring different visuals that suit two cities.
I used my knowledge through travel to develop a bold and moody atmosphere featuring popular modern Japanese such as rebellious ‘Gyaru’ fashion and emoticons align with the deconstructed flag.
For Paris, I was inspired by an art deco approach, I sketched a French fashion illustration style woman holding a wine glass that flows seamlessly into the given copy. This poster embodies elegance, poise and grandeur that characterised the history of French art.
